This attractive, mid-terraced, former miner’s cottage stands in the centre of the small village of Nenthead in the rural North Pennines, an AONB. The C2C cycleway and a network of footpaths, including the Pennine Way, can be joined from the holiday cottage. There are mining attractions nearby and the market town of Alston (highest in England) is 5 miles. Enjoy the dramatic scenery of the North Pennines which leads on to The Lake District, Northumberland and The Yorkshire Dales. Shop and pub/restaurant 200 yards.

Ground floor: Living room. Dining room/kitchen with tiled floor. Beams throughout. First floor: 2 double (5ft) bedrooms, one with additional single futon (for alternative sleeping). Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.
