Set in a magnificent position within the Dales National Park Conservation Area, overlooking Gayle Beck and waterfalls, this holiday property dates back to circa 1800 and was originally part of the storage and yarn knitting industry associated with the nearby Gayle Mill. The beamed living room with its cast iron stove makes a cosy retreat from the surrounding hills whilst the kitchen offers every modern convenience.
Situated close to the Pennine Way there is excellent walking direct from the door for both the rambler or the serious walker and in the bustling market town of Hawes, a 10-minute walk away, there is a wealth of shops, pubs and restaurants offering a wide variety of choices to suit every palate. Also in Hawes you can visit the Dales Folk Museum, the ropemakers, the pottery or the famous Wensleydale Creamery.
