The "little capital" of Upper Wensleydale is Hawes, Yorkshire's highest market town and farming community which lies in the path of the Pennine Way.

This is an award-winning museum, managed by the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority, housed in Hawes railway station in the north of the National Park.
The gallery features original artwork, ceramics and textiles all by local artists and artisans.
