If magic is real, we would be able to fit just about anything inside a tent and turn it into a house similar to that in the Harry Potter movie. Now, that would just be awesome. However, since magic is something that is not attainable by us normal people, the closest that we can make use of is an 8 person tent.

An 8 person tent is huge. Of course it is nowhere as big as a circus tent. Yet it can definitely provide a temporary living quarter to a family. Large families on the go can live within this large tent.

When we think of tents, we immediately associate it with camping and outdoor activities. Yes, tents are commonly used for those purposes. An eight person tent, however, can be utilized as a shelter for events other than camping.

An 8 person tent can be utilized as a temporary shelter for those families whose houses are undergoing repair and perhaps even fumigation, yet do not have enough money to spare to rent another place to live, for the time being.

In war zones and calamity-laden areas, an 8 person tent or its prototype can be utilized as a shelter for evacuees of the disaster. Its large size can accommodate a number of people to take shelter within its abode.

For people who simply do not have the money to buy a house or even rent an apartment, getting an eight person tent is perfect for them. What is good about getting an eight person tent in this case is that they have the security that they will not be kicked out from the roof that they are taking in as shelter because they own it. More so, they have the luxury to move from one place to another as there are a lot of tent parks where they can pitch their 8 person tents and establish as their residence.

There are drawbacks to living in a tent for a long period of time. First, there are no proper comfort rooms and shower rooms. People who live in tents have to resort to public commodes and shower rooms. Second, disposal of human excrement and wastes can be a long-term problem. People can acquire diseases from these wastes if they are not disposed of properly since these could contaminate the water and even the food that people drink. Third, people living in crowded tents are more likely to acquire contagious diseases because there is no proper ventilation system. Lastly, an unsanitary environment promotes the infestation of rodents and pests. These do not only harm people’s property, they also harbor disease-causing microorganisms.

Living in an eight person tent for whatever reason is never wrong. In fact, equipments such as these were created to make our lives easier in the first place. It is just a matter of proper hygiene and sanitation that spells out the difference of the outcome of living in this temporary shelter.

We do not need magic in order to have temporary shelters. We have tents as big as an 8 person tent to give us roof. It is up to us how we make use of this wonderful equipment.
