Description:
Free House - Without doubt the most famous and most remote pub in Yorkshire. The highest Inn in Britain at 1732 feet above sea level and at the point where the county boundaries of Durham, Cumbria and North Yorkshire meet. Meals, Real Ales and a bunk barn on offer. Lots of memorabilia inside and electricity is supplied via a generator. After over twenty years in the hands of Alec and Margaret Baines, Tan Hill changed hands this summer after their retirement.User Reviews:
