There are few more enjoyable places in the UK than the Yorkshire Dales for walking and hiking.
Over 100 miles of footpaths, covering mountaintop trails, valley bottoms and riverside paths make exploring the region by foot a highlight of any visit.
The Pennine Way National Trail winds through the region, Covering 268 miles and chasing the Pennine Mountain tops along the rugged backbone of England, from the Peak District through the Yorkshire Dales and over Hadrian's Wall to the Cheviots. The Dales Way crosses the region and follows the full length of the Wharfe valley and passes many of our favourite spots in the area.
